Cholula: Beekeeping, Seeds, and Biofertilizers Workshop｜Mexico

Your experience begins with a welcome at the permaculture center, where you will learn about the space and the philosophy that guides this place dedicated to caring for the land. We'll begin by exploring the fascinating world of bees: you'll learn how their community functions, how to approach them safely using beekeeping equipment, and you'll get a close-up look at their work as the great guardians of pollination. You will even have the opportunity to taste freshly harvested honey.
Next, we will continue with a seed bomb workshop, where you will create small capsules of life using clay, seeds, and natural nutrients. You will learn how these can help regenerate soils and reforest green spaces in a simple and effective way.
To wrap things up, you will discover how to make natural biofertilizers using microorganisms and organic waste that help enrich the soil in an eco-friendly way. During the experience, you will also enjoy breaks, a snack, and a vegetarian lunch prepared with fresh ingredients, some of which are grown on-site.
By the end of the day, you will not only have learned practical agroecology techniques, but you will also have had a profound experience of connection with nature and with sustainable ways to care for our planet.
