Begin your 8-hour adventure with convenient pickup from your Flagstaff or Williams accommodation in a luxury transit van. Travel to the Grand Canyon alongside a small group of fellow adventurers as your expert guide shares fascinating insights into local history, geology, and wildlife.
Upon arrival, get fitted for your premium e-bike at Mather Point. Follow a scenic, GPS-guided 5-mile trail along the South Rim to the South Kaibab trailhead. There, your guide will meet the group with refreshing drinks and snacks before leading an immersive 1.5-mile roundtrip hike below the rim. Descend 3/4 of a mile into the ancient rock layers to a stunning lookout point, where you will relax and refuel with a delicious, locally sourced Arizona lunch. (Depending on weather and group desire, we sometimes picnic on the rim prior to our decent).
After conquering the strenuous 3/4-mile hike back up to the rim while learning about the canyon's geological history, unlock your e-bikes for a final 2.5-mile ride back to the shop. Conclude your day with a relaxing drive back to your hotel, complete with personalized dinner recommendations from your guide.
(Note: This active tour features paved rim riding with moderate hills and an exposed, steep cliffside hike. It is recommended for guests with a good level of physical fitness.)
