Treasure Hunt: The Ride is a family-friendly pirate-themed adventurous tour built exclusively for Cannery Row in Monterey! This immersive attraction is part ride, part game, and inspired by the area's unique history.
Your 20-minute journey includes 15 minutes of themed queue and pre-show entertainment, beginning as you descend a staircase wrapped around a 30’ mast where animatronic pirate Shark Bait Sam and his parrot Scuttle await.
From there, an adventurous elevator ride takes you and up to 20 guests deep into the caverns below Cannery Row. You’ll board old-fashioned ore carts, each equipped with interactive “Treasure Collectors” to gather treasure and fend off cave creatures, skeleton pirates, and the ghost of Bouchard himself! Compete with your fellow riders for the highest score in this thrilling underground expedition.
