I will lead us through the museum's renowned collection of Academicism, Realism and of Impressionist masterpieces, looking at the evolution on art in few footsteps.
Impressionism marked a radical departure from the conventions of Academicism and Realism. Emerging in the late 19th century, Impressionism was characterized by its rejection of traditional academic techniques and its embrace of innovative approaches to color, light, and brushwork.
