— What You Can Expect —

Enjoy this historical rail journey to Kuranda and enjoy breathtaking views across the cane fields of Cairns to the tropical rainforest of Kuranda. Upon arriving in Kuranda, you'll have an hour to explore this fascinating village. Stop by the Heritage Market that operates seven days a week and see hundreds of colorful and interesting arts and crafts.

At 11:30 am, make your way directly to the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway boarding line. Relax as there is no need to queue—your tickets are already on your boarding pass. Once aboard, be amazed as you journey over and through World Heritage protected rainforest. Your boarding pass is your ticket to this iconic rainforest experience that includes time at both Red Peak and Barron Falls stations. Be amazed by the spectacular lookouts at both sites, or choose to visit the Rainforest Interpretation Centre. Complimentary guided boardwalk tours are offered throughout the day at Red Peak Station.

Transfer to Hartley's Crocodile Adventures, the best place to see crocodiles in North Queensland! Explore the park and experience the domain of the saltwater crocodile. Set off a 25-minute boat cruise through the ecologically significant Melaleuca wetlands.  See the notorious head shakes and death rolls of a huge saltwater crocodile at the Crocodile Attack Show, and discover the world’s most venomous snakes at the Snake Show!
