Discover the fascinating world of geodes during an experience open to all in the heart of Quebec City. After a welcome and a short presentation, you will learn how these amazing geological formations were created over millions of years. Equipped with goggles and suitable tools, you will then open your own geode to reveal the crystals hidden inside. Each geode is unique: it is impossible to know in advance the shape, color, or size of the crystals you will discover. Once your geode is open, you can observe its crystals up close, take pictures, and leave with your discovery as a souvenir. This activity is ideal for families, couples, curious travelers, and anyone who wants to enjoy an original experience combining science, discovery, and fun.
