During the cruise, learn about the Icebreaker's unique role in Arctic navigation. When conditions allow, step onto the frozen sea and capture unforgettable photographs beside the impressive vessel.

Experience the Arctic in a truly unique way with an unforgettable ice floating activity. Put on a specially designed thermal survival suit and float safely in the icy waters while staying warm and comfortable.

The suit provides buoyancy and insulation, allowing you to relax and enjoy the extraordinary sensation of floating in the freezing Arctic water under professional supervision.

At the end of your cruise, receive an official Icebreaker diploma as a memorable keepsake of this unique Arctic adventure.

We will pick you up from your accommodation in Ruka or Kuusamo at approximately 8:50 AM and begin the scenic journey to the Icebreaker departure point. The drive takes approximately 3 hours each way.

On arrival, enjoy an unforgettable 4-hour Icebreaker cruise on the frozen Gulf of Bothnia. Your experience includes the exciting ice floating activity, where you can float safely in the icy water wearing a special thermal survival suit. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy the unique Arctic surroundings and receive an Icebreaker diploma as a special souvenir.

After the cruise, we will begin the return journey and drop you back at your accommodation in Ruka or Kuusamo in the evening.
