Begin your adventure by getting equipped for the journey in Lammintupa. Receive instructions from your guide, and then set off on your snowmobile safari. This is a self drive safari. You need at least as many drivers as passengers.

Drive through the snowy forests and hills of Ruka, taking in the breathtaking winter landscapes. Enjoy the beauty of nature as you ride through the snow-covered terrain.

Halfway through the safari, adults can switch drivers if they wish. After approximately 3 hours of driving, return to Lammintupa and warm up in a cozy hut.

Enjoy a snack by the campfire, grilling sausages and savoring homemade sweet pastries. Sip on campfire coffee, tea, hot juice, or hot chocolate as you relax and share stories from your adventure.

Tour is done with shared snowmobiles.

  • Not Suitable For: Pregnant women

  • Not Suitable For: People under 4 ft 6 in (140 cm)

  • Not Suitable For: Drivers under 18 years

  • What To Bring: Driver's license

  • Not Allowed: Intoxication

  • Not Allowed: Alcohol and drugs

  • Know Before You Go: The driver of the snowmobile must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driving license in Finland.

  • Know Before You Go: Safari is done with shared snowmobiles

  • Know Before You Go: Driving a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs or medicines is against Finnish law.

  • Know Before You Go: Self liability in case of an accident is 1000 €.

  • Know Before You Go: Height limit for the passenger is minimum 140cm. Person sitting behind the driver needs to get his feet firmly to snowmobile footboard.

  • Know Before You Go: All safaris begin and end at Lammintupa Winter Village.
