Embark on a guided winter hike through Riisitunturi National Park, one of Finland’s most breathtaking natural gems, nestled in the snowy forests of Posio.

After pick-up from your accommodation in Rovaniemi, you’ll head towards the heart of this magical landscape. Riisitunturi is famous for its dramatic ridges, frozen lakes, and snow-covered spruce trees that turn into whimsical snow sculptures during the coldest months.

Imagine walking among these fairytale-like trees while a professional photographer follows your journey, capturing stunning portraits and natural moments framed by the untouched Arctic beauty, a once-in-a-lifetime memory frozen in time.

The hike is moderate, about 4 km along serene winter trails. Along the way, you’ll warm up around a cozy campfire with hot chocolate and a campfire BBQ of Lappish sausages and bread. Your guide will also share fun and useful Finnish survival skills, like chopping firewood and making fire in the wild — adding a cultural touch to this unforgettable day.
