Rovaniemi: Aurora Borealis adventure with fire & snacks｜Finland

Experience the magic of Lapland in Rovaniemi. Leave the city lights behind and journey deep into the Arctic wilderness in search of one of nature’s most breathtaking spectacles – the Aurora Borealis.

Our team will take you to carefully selected locations away from light pollution, including a frozen lake, a snowy winter forest, and a peaceful riverside. At each stop, we’ll watch the night sky together and wait for the appearance of the mesmerizing northern lights.

To keep you warm and comfortable in the Arctic night, we’ll light a traditional campfire and serve a cozy Lappish-style BBQ. Enjoy grilled sausages, traditional rice pies, hot spiced berry juice, gingerbread cookies, and toasted marshmallows while surrounded by pristine winter nature.

We will make several scenic stops throughout the evening to maximize our chances of witnessing the aurora and to fully immerse you in the magical atmosphere of Lapland’s night landscape.

Please note: the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and sightings cannot be guaranteed. However, our experienced guides monitor weather and solar activity conditions and do their best to provide the best possible viewing opportunities.

Join us for a magical Arctic night under the stars and the chance to witness the unforgettable dance of the Northern Lights in Rovaniemi.
