The Arctic SnowHotel is one of the must-see places when visiting Rovaniemi. Located remotely from the city center, the best way to reach it is by snowmobiles. Enjoy a long snowmobile safari along various tracks in the wilderness, and take a tour around the Arctic hotel when you arrive.
Learn about the construction of the icy masterpiece and even see how the snow sauna works. Then, a tantalizing lunch of glow-fried salmon is served in a warm wooden Kota tepee. Finish the day by snowmobiling back to the city, accompanied by new unforgettable memories.

  • What To Bring: Driver's license

  • Know Before You Go: The main meeting place is Safartica Office (Koskikatu 9), 25 min. before the activity starts. If you require a different pick-up location, please specify it when booking. We will confirm your meeting time by email accordingly

  • Know Before You Go: The driving time is approx. 3 hours. Driving speed will depend on weather conditions and driving skills of the participants

  • Know Before You Go: 2 persons share one snowmobile. A single driving supplement of 90€/person can be purchased optionally in advance

  • Know Before You Go: Drivers must be 18 or older and hold a valid driving license

  • Know Before You Go: The driver is liable for damages up to 990€/accident. An insurance of 20€ can be purchased on the spot before the tour

  • Know Before You Go: Not suitable for children under 13 years old. Children who are tall (min. 140 cm) and strong enough can join as passenger in a snowmobile when buying an adult ticket

  • Know Before You Go: Not recommended for pregnant women and people with fragile musculoskeletal system
