Know Before You Go: Snowmobile drivers must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid B-category driver's license.
Know Before You Go: The excess for snowmobile damages is 980€/driver/incident. By paying 50€ for the 'waiver,' the maximum excess amount reduces to 150 euros. The waiver must be purchased before the start of the safari.
Know Before You Go: Children under 15 years old travel in a sled pulled by the guide.
Know Before You Go: The departure point for excursions organized by Lupland is Arctic Guesthouse & Igloos (address: Pappilantie 1, 97700 Ranua). Please ensure you arrive on time, at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start of the excursion.
