Discover the breathtaking beauty of Korouoma on a guided Arctic adventure through snowy forests, dramatic cliffs, and spectacular frozen waterfalls. Located about 90 minutes from Rovaniemi, this ancient canyon was formed thousands of years ago and is now one of Finland’s most impressive natural attractions.

Over 100-meter-high cliffs rise above the canyon floor, where the Korojoki River flows between rugged rock walls. In winter, waterfalls freeze into magnificent ice formations, creating a surreal Arctic landscape.

Hike through pristine Nordic wilderness and visit three massive frozen waterfalls. Along the way, your professional guide will take you to the best scenic viewpoints and capture stunning photos of your adventure by phone.

Hike through peaceful forest trails and descend into the canyon valley, fully immersing yourself in the silence and beauty of Arctic nature. At the top viewpoint, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views across the canyon and down toward the frozen waterfalls below.

Midway through the adventure, light a campfire and enjoy a traditional Lappish outdoor lunch. Warm drinks, sausages, marshmallows, and snacks are served, with vegan and vegetarian options available. As a special treat, savor authentic Lappish flavors with Finnish leipäjuusto (squeaky cheese) served with sweet cloudberry jam. Outdoor clothing and shoe spikes are provided for safety and comfort, and your guide will capture the entire experience in photos, giving you lasting memories of your Korouoma adventure.
