Saariselkä: Ice Fishing Tour to Lake Inari, reindeers& lunch｜Finland

We will pick you up from Saariselkä by minibuss. You will get warm thermal clothing and shoes in our office in Ivalo. From there we continue short drive to a small village called Koppelo.

Snowmobiles and sledges are waiting for you there, the journey starts to our secret fishing place in Lake Inari. You can enjoy unique landscape, while you travel in the comfort of a sleigh pulled by a snowmobile.

Local experienced guide will give you instructions for Ice Fishing. You will receive your own fishing rod and you can start fishing in a true Lappish style.
You will use either a worm or a maggot to catch the fish.

After fishing we will drive to a small island. Owners of this small family company Tina and Tapio lives in the island around the year. There is two friendly reindeers you can meet and take photos.
You can get a glimpse of authentic lifestyle by visiting this island, far away from touristic areas.
Home made 3-course lunch and hot berry juice will be served in a warm lappish teepee by open fire.
There will be BBQ sausages, home made Reindeer or Salmon soup, bread, cheese, blueberry cake and hot berry juice. Vegetarian lunch by request ( BBQ Tofu Skewers Chicken Style & home made vegatable soup ).

This is a great outdoor trip, even if you are not so interested in fishing!
