Welcome on a journey to discover the secrets of Finnish happiness through urban nature and a traditional sauna experience!

Meet your local Finnish guide in Helsinki and set off on an adventure to the beautiful island of Mustikkamaa, just 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) from the city center. Immerse yourself in the island's gorgeous urban nature, culture and activities as you walk around the island for a total of 3 kilometers (1.8 miles).

Stop at a scenic spot to enjoy a homemade lunch of local treats. Afterwards return from the island and continue on a 2 kilometer (1.2 miles) urban walk to Sörnäinen Löylykontti sauna for the most iconic Finnish experience out there: a private sauna session for 1 hour!

Relax in the sauna and take rejuvenating plunges into the Baltic Sea and realize why Finland is the happiest country in the world!

  • Know Before You Go: The total walk is 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) on easy paths and city streets. The trail has some tree roots and uneven terrain, so comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended. It is suitable for anyone with a normal everyday fitness level

  • Know Before You Go: The tour is not suitable for children under the age of 16

  • Know Before You Go: The tour ends in a different location than the starting point in Sörnäinen district with excellent public transportation connections. I will help you with directions!
