Get to know Schleswig's history and its highlights with a lot of hygge (Nordic coziness / serenity). My name is Dirk Reichenecker. I am a historian and archaeologist and will show you the hidden treasures of the city with a lot of fun, passion, and insider knowledge.

Together, we will explore the historic cathedral (only an exterior tour – an interior tour is possible for a surcharge, depending on the time), the picturesque old town, and the interesting fishing village of Holm with the Johanniskloster.

There are many legends and tales surrounding Schleswig Cathedral. It was the burial place of powerful Danish kings of the Middle Ages. Today, the silhouette of Schleswig is unimaginable without the cathedral with its striking, tall tower. But has it always been that way?
