After your arrival at our lovingly furnished ceramic painting studio in the heart of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, we will welcome you personally. In a calm, relaxed atmosphere, we will explain the process to you step by step, show you simple painting techniques and answer all your questions—no prior experience necessary.

Now the best part begins: You get to paint your ceramics according to your own ideas. Whether you go for a simple, colorful or playful design, we will be there to support you throughout the entire painting process, give you tips and create a cozy, relaxed atmosphere.

  • Know Before You Go: Production time: After painting, the ceramic needs at least 24–36 hours for drying, glazing and firing. You cannot take it with you immediately. You can find pick-up details in the "Completion & Pick-up" section.

  • Know Before You Go: Eligibility to participate: Children under 5 years old, people with severe motor impairments, or people who cannot stand/sit should only participate if accompanied.

  • Know Before You Go: Languages: The experience is led in German and English.

  • Know Before You Go: Duration: Allow about 90–150 minutes for painting.

  • Know Before You Go: Note regarding pick-up or shipping: Once your piece is finished, you can pick up your ceramics at the studio or have them shipped to you if you wish. Any shipping costs will be discussed on site.
