The 7-day Annapurna Base Camp trek from Pokhara is a short but beautifully immersive journey that gently carries you from peaceful Gurung villages to the heart of the mighty Annapurna Himalayas. The adventure begins with a scenic drive and a steady walk through terraced fields, rhododendron forests, and charming mountain settlements where warm smiles and simple local life make every step feel welcoming. As you move higher, the valley narrows and the landscapes turn dramatic, with waterfalls tumbling down steep cliffs and snow peaks slowly revealing themselves with every turn. The trail leads you through the serene sanctuary, a natural amphitheater surrounded by some of the world’s highest mountains, creating a magical feeling of entering a hidden kingdom. Reaching Annapurna Base Camp at 4,130 meters is the highlight—here, golden sunrise on Annapurna I, Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli, and other towering peaks paints the entire bowl in soft, glowing light.
