Begin your adventure at Manungkot Hill, a viewpoint famous for its above-the-cloud sunrises and panoramic Himalayan vistas. From the hilltop, descend gradually through lush green hills, terraced farmlands, and traditional Gurung and Magar villages, experiencing authentic Nepalese countryside life up close.

The trail is moderately easy and ideal for travelers seeking a 6-hour nature walk that combines scenic photography, local charm, and a refreshing mountain atmosphere. Along the way, enjoy spectacular views of mountain peaks like Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain) in the distance, along with the Seti and Modi rivers shimmering below.

Pass through small settlements where you can stop for home-cooked local meals or refreshing tea breaks while chatting with friendly villagers. The hike concludes at Tharpu Bazar, a lively hill market town where you can explore local shops, enjoy a traditional lunch, and take transport connections back toward Damauli or Pokhara.
