Make a first stop at the Al Khor Harbor, the first harbor of the country for pearl diving and fishing. See dhow boats from old times mixed with modern boats.

From the harbor, visit the Al Thakira Mangroves Forest, the area's largest and oldest mangrove forest. This forest is home to many animals, and it is located beside Purple Island, another sight you'll also get to see.

Nest, discover a famous UNESCO World Heritage Site: the Zubara Fort. The Zubara Fort is a perfect example of a typical Arab fort from the old times. While exploring, learn about the history of the area and how and when it became an archaeological site.
