Step inside one of the most charming historic houses in San José and travel back to the time when coffee plantations surrounded the city.
The Victorian Hotel is a mansion built in 1910 that was home to a family linked to the Costa Rican coffee tradition. During this immersive experience, you'll learn how coffee helped transform Costa Rica and discover stories of everyday life in early 20th-century San José.
You will learn how to prepare coffee using the traditional Costa Rican chorreador, taste high-quality coffee accompanied by typical snacks, and explore the history of the property.
The experience culminates with a fun mixology class where you'll prepare cocktails inspired by Costa Rican flavors, including a special coffee-based creation.
This is a perfect experience for lovers of culture, gastronomy, and authentic experiences.

The activity includes alcoholic beverages, which can only be consumed by participants over 18 years old. A minimum of 2 participants is required for the experience to run. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the activity may be canceled and customers will receive a full refund in accordance with KKday's cancellation policy.
