Explore a private family-owned transitional forest in Monteverde after dark. Designed for families, nature enthusiasts, and curious travelers of all ages, this experience offers an engaging introduction to the nocturnal biodiversity of Costa Rica.

Accompanied by a certified local naturalist guide, explore forest trails while learning about the fascinating interactions that occur after dark within this unique ecosystem.

As daylight fades, the forest reveals a different rhythm of life. Use flashlights and optical equipment provided by your guide to observe a variety of nocturnal wildlife, including insects, amphibians, reptiles, birds, mammals, and other forest inhabitants, depending on weather, seasonal conditions, and natural activity patterns.

Throughout the walk, your guide will share stories and insights about nocturnal ecology, animal adaptations, forest dynamics, and conservation efforts in Monteverde. Explanations are adapted to the interests and ages of participants, creating an enjoyable and educational experience for both children and adults.

With a maximum group size of 10 participants, enjoy a more personal experience and greater opportunities to connect with nature in a peaceful nighttime setting.
