Get picked up from your hotel and head to the Balsa River, located less than an hour's drive from La Fortuna. Once you arrive, receive a comprehensive safety briefing from our certified professional guides who are trained in all safety protocols and emergency procedures.

Navigate beginner to moderate Class 2/3 rapids, perfect for first-time rafters ages 8 to 108. Previous rafting experience is optional, and you do not have to know how to swim – our expert guides will be with you every step of the way.

During the journey down the Balsa, make planned stops, allowing you to soak in the surroundings, look for wildlife, enjoy a refreshing swim, and explore the vibrant ecosystem that thrives along the riverbanks.

Conclude the trip with a traditional Costa Rican lunch before being dropped off back at your hotel.
