Embark on an Unforgettable Journey: Tierra del Fuego National Park and Beagle Channel

Get ready for a full-day adventure combining the landscapes, history, and wildlife that make Ushuaia so unique! Travel by minibus with a professional driver and expert guide as you discover Tierra del Fuego National Park, ride the legendary End of the World Train, and sail along the Beagle Channel.

Experience History on the End of the World Train

Step aboard the End of the World Train and follow a historic route once traveled by prisoners. As the train winds through the Fuegian forest, admire the landscapes and learn about the southernmost railway in the world.

First Stop: End of Route 3

Reach the legendary End of Route 3 at Lapataia Bay, where the road comes to an end. Stand beside the famous End of the World sign and capture a photo at one of the most iconic spots in Tierra del Fuego.

Next, Marvel at Lake Roca

Continue through the national park to beautiful Lake Roca. Surrounded by forests and mountains, this viewpoint offers a quintessential Patagonian landscape.

Discover the Alakush Visitor Center

Explore the Alakush Visitor Center and learn more about Tierra del Fuego’s nature, history, and culture.

Final Stop: Ensenada Zaratiegui

Continue to Ensenada Zaratiegui, where the forest meets the Beagle Channel. See the historic southernmost postal box, preserved as part of the region’s heritage. Although the postal service is no longer operating, the historic building remains a charming spot to appreciate and photograph while enjoying the spectacular views.

Relax and Refuel in Ushuaia

Return to central Ushuaia and enjoy some free time before your next adventure. The tourist port is just a few blocks away for a bite or short break.

Set Sail for the Beagle Channel

At 2:15 PM, board your boat and set sail into the legendary Beagle Channel. Admire Ushuaia, the mountains, and coastline from the water!

Discover Unique Wildlife

Sail past Birds Island and Sea Lions Island, home to seabirds and sea lions. Keep your camera ready for wildlife sightings.

Capture the Moment at Les Éclaireurs Lighthouse

Continue toward the iconic Les Éclaireurs Lighthouse, one of the symbols of Ushuaia. Surrounded by the Beagle Channel and Fuegian mountains, it is a perfect highlight of your navigation.

Return with a Stunning View

After approximately 3 hours on the water, return to Ushuaia with views of the city and mountains.

Seasonal Information

Access to the Ensenada Zaratiegui stop is available only from approximately mid-October to mid-May. Outside this period, the stop is not accessible, and the tour will spend additional time at the other viewpoints in the national park.

The penguin season runs from approximately mid-October to the end of March. If seeing penguins is a priority, make sure to choose the option that includes the 5-hour navigation, which visits the penguin colony as well as the other iconic sights!
