Set off on an unforgettable 4-hour adventure to the South Ari Marine Protected Area (SAMPA), one of the world’s best destinations for year-round whale shark encounters.

Begin with a convenient hotel pickup, followed by a short boat ride to known whale shark feeding grounds. Guided by experienced local experts, search for these gentle giants in their natural habitat.

When a whale shark is spotted, slip into the water and snorkel alongside it at a safe and respectful distance. Despite their impressive size, whale sharks are completely harmless, offering a peaceful yet awe-inspiring encounter. Your guide will be with you throughout and ensure your safety at all times.

As a second highlight of the trip, head to a manta ray cleaning or feeding station for a chance to snorkel with these graceful creatures. Watch as manta rays glide effortlessly through the water, often coming surprisingly close in a truly mesmerizing experience.

Depending on conditions, you may have multiple encounters with both whale sharks and manta rays. Along the way, keep an eye out for other marine life, including sea turtles and vibrant reef fish.

After the excursion, relax on the boat ride back before being dropped off at your hotel.
