Set sail from the Árnafjørður marina and follow the eastern seashore by Mjóvin. Sail close to the shore and see dramatic landscapes with ravines and sea caves.

Continue along the dramatic coastline, referred to by locals as “Bergið,” and take in the view east towards the island of Svínoy. Cross the fjord towards the iconic headland Lisshøvdi and explore the western shores of the fjord, sailing close to an Arctic Tern colony and an unusual Puffin nesting site.

Keep your eyes open for grey seals, who often rest on local skerries or near sea caves. Learn about their lives and how they thrive in this natural habitat.
