Set off on an unforgettable full-day adventure starting from the beautiful region of Rethymnon, where you’ll be picked up in the morning by a comfortable, air-conditioned bus.

Your journey takes you to the picturesque port of Kissamos in Chania, where you’ll board a ferry and cruise along Crete’s stunning coastline. The first stop is the world-famous Balos Lagoon, a true slice of paradise. Admire the breathtaking views, relax on the white-sand beach, and swim in the shallow, turquoise waters that make Balos one of the most iconic locations on the island.

Next, the ferry continues to the historic peninsula of Gramvousa. Here, you’ll have free time to choose your own adventure: hike up to the impressive Venetian castle for panoramic views over the sea, or unwind by swimming in the crystal-clear waters surrounding the island.

As the day comes to an end, you’ll return by ferry to Kissamos Port, where the bus will be waiting to comfortably transfer you back to Rethymnon.

This experience perfectly combines natural beauty, history, and relaxation, offering a memorable day exploring some of Crete’s most spectacular and photographed destinations.

  • Know Before You Go: Consider packing a picnic with food from your accommodation, or buy food in advance from local bakeries at Kissamos port before you board the boat, especially for people with dietary requirements.

  • Know Before You Go: During the boat tour, a variety of food options, including simple meals, snacks, and beverages, are available for purchase onboard from the snack bar.

  • Know Before You Go: Pickup is available from designated meeting points and selected hotels, not from every hotel in the Rethymno area. We will contact you after your booking with your exact pickup location and time. Most meeting points are just a 2–10 minute walk from your accommodation.
