Begin your evening with a convenient pickup from your hotel or accommodation in Tromsø. Once everyone is ready, your guide will take you away from the city and into the surrounding Arctic landscape. Continuously monitor the weather, cloud cover, and Northern Lights conditions and choose the location that gives you the best possible chance of experiencing the aurora that evening.
When you arrive, a cozy Arctic camp awaits you. Gather around the crackling fire, settle onto traditional reindeer hides, and take in the peaceful winter surroundings. With the city lights behind you, slow down and enjoy some quality time together in the Arctic wilderness.
To make the evening feel like a true date night, enjoy a selection of Norwegian and locally inspired treats to share. Enjoy local chocolate, a small Arctic-inspired meal, and a glass of Prosecco or a non-alcoholic alternative. Warm up with hot chocolate or tea while the fire keeps you cozy.
The food is intentionally designed as a relaxed sharing experience rather than a formal dinner. Think comforting local flavors, small bites, and something delicious to enjoy together beside the fire.
Warm thermal clothing is included, helping you stay comfortable while spending time outdoors in the Arctic winter.
Your guide will keep an eye on the sky throughout the evening and let you know when the aurora begins to appear. If conditions allow, position yourself in the best possible place to enjoy the show.
The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, so sightings can never be guaranteed. However, your experienced guides use local knowledge, weather forecasts, and aurora activity to give you the best possible opportunity to see them. If the lights do not appear, the evening still continues with the campfire, food, drinks, photography, and the Arctic landscape.
One of the highlights of your Arctic Date is professional photography. Rather than leaving you to take selfies, your photographer will capture natural photographs of you together throughout the evening. Take portraits beside the fire, in the Arctic landscape, and, when the conditions are right, photographs of you beneath the Northern Lights.
Your edited photographs are included, giving you something beautiful to take home from your experience.
