Join us on our special Northern Lights in Focus tour and set off with us in search of the magical green lady dancing in the arctic sky!
Whether with the naked eye or through the lens of your camera, experiencing this natural phenomenon is a deeply impressive experience.
Join us on a drive to one of the many carefully selected locations where the chances of seeing the Northern Lights are the best. We remain flexible – and we know this region very well.
Our dedicated and experienced guides lead our Northern Lights in Focus Tour in small groups with a maximum of 18 participants.
Let's go! North, south, east or west – depending on where the conditions are most favorable on that day. This refers in particular to the very local weather conditions, which can change significantly behind every mountain and every fjord. In any case, we drive out into nature, where it is dark, far away from light pollution, and ideally free of clouds.
Our local knowledge, our understanding of weather and wind conditions, and our flexibility in choosing the best location are crucial components of your experience, as they significantly increase your chances of experiencing the northern lights in all their glory.
As soon as we reach our destination – perhaps at a remote fjord – we make ourselves comfortable by the campfire, snuggle up in warm thermal overalls, and wait patiently for the show to begin. We serve homemade soup, freshly baked cookies, hot chocolate, and tea.
Photos! … Oh yes! Photography is a very special focus of our Northern Lights in Focus tour. Our carefully selected guides are also experienced professional photographers. During the tour, your guide will take numerous photos with professional camera equipment, including portraits of each guest – ideally with the northern lights in the background. Your guide will also be happy to help you with the correct camera settings and give you photography tips along the way. Complimentary photos in social media quality are included. High-resolution images in print quality are also available for purchase, so you can remember your Arctic adventure for a long time to come.
The fine print:
Natural phenomena cannot be guaranteed. Our guides use their local knowledge, flexibility and experience to maximize your chances of seeing the Northern Lights. However, since the Aurora Borealis is a natural phenomenon, sightings cannot be guaranteed, and the absence of the northern lights during the tour does not entitle you to a refund. The tour is operating normally, regardless of the activity of the northern lights.
