Kopstoot tasting at the Rutte Distillery｜Netherlands

A Kopstoot is an old, Dutch tradition: to drink a genever, next to a beer. Known since the forties, but now ready for a fancier revival. We combine beautiful craft beers with our premium jenevers; not a matter of drinking a lot, but a lot of taste. You will be welcomed in the Tasting Room on the 1st floor. A Rutte host or hostess will take you through the history of Rutte. She or he will tell you all about the process of distilling and extracting. After a tour of the potstill, barrels, and botanicals, you will taste various genevers and beers and you can experience why they a are a perfect match.
