Zurich Day Trip: Aletsch, Longest Glacier in the Alps｜Switzerland

Experience a full day in the Swiss Alps with a scenic journey from Zurich to the Aletsch Arena, home to the largest glacier in the Alps. Your adventure includes a comfortable train ride, breathtaking cable car ascents, and stunning panoramic views.

Begin your journey with a train ride from Zurich to Fiesch/Betten. Then, take a cable car ride up to the Aletsch Arena and Bettmerhorn. Enjoy free time for photos, short walks, and glacier views.

Depending on your wishes and physical condition, we can easily hike to Moosfluh or even further to Hohfluh. Another possibility is going in the opposite direction to Eggishorn, which is a bit higher. The official tour therefore ends at one of the four viewpoints, where you can enjoy a meal or a drink while taking in the alpine scenery.

After the tour ends, your ticket is valid for the whole day, allowing you to explore Switzerland further at your own pace.
