Bus and snowmobile delays may occur due to various conditions. The time schedule is only a guide.
Due to weather, traffic conditions, and other unavoidable circumstances, the course may change and some sightseeing spots may be canceled. In addition, you cannot specify a seat on the bus. Thank you for your understanding. If the bus is full, you may be asked to sit in an extra seat. When you board the bus, you will be riding with other participants.
Lunch is not included in this tour, please bring your own lunch or have it at a restaurant.
The snowmobile is fully heated so normal winter clothing is sufficient, however please bring warm clothing and accessories to keep you warm while viewing the exhibits.
If the tour is cancelled, we will notify you by message around 7am (Japan time) on the day of the tour.
Standard class reception location: Inside the rest house (if you are unsure, please ask the local staff)
Deluxe Class Reception Location: Inside the Slope House (If you are unsure, please ask the local staff)
The weather at the viewing point of Okama is changeable, and in the case of blizzards or thick fog (gas), it is expected that you will not be able to see Okama. In that case, we will flexibly adjust the viewing location and time while observing the customer's conditions.
Please note that there are points along the tour route where you can walk through the frost-covered trees, but even if you can see the frost-covered trees, you will only be able to view them from the vehicle window and the tour will not stop or allow you to disembark.
Even in mid-March, there is a lot of snow at the higher elevations and the temperature is low. On sunny days, walking around can make you sweat, so please wear clothes that will allow you to adjust your body temperature according to the weather.
The stroll to the viewing point will take about 30 minutes. From the drop-off point, it is a 150m, 5-minute walk to the Okama observation point, or if you wish, we can take you to the inner shrine and torii gate of Kattamine Shrine at the top of Mt. Katta, which is a 200m, 10-minute walk from the observation point (there is a slight gentle uphill slope).
The bus departs on time. The operator will not contact you, so please arrive at the boarding location early. Please note that refunds are not available if you miss the bus due to your own circumstances.
