Purchase a Kitaca IC card and skip waiting in line to buy tickets. Use the card to enter and exit at the ticket gate, or employ it as an electronic payment card for shopping. Top it up and reuse it multiple times, similar to domestic transportation cards.

- Scope of use:
- Transportation: Kitaca works not only in Hokkaido but also on railways and buses with nationwide IC logos. Use it in IC card areas like the metropolitan area, Nagoya, Kansai, and Kyushu.
- Shopping: Simply tap Kitaca on the reader to pay at franchise stores. It's also accepted at interoperable electronic cash systems nationwide.

Purchase Notice
- The card is valid for 10 years, and if left unused for a decade, its magnetic stripe becomes invalid, necessitating a new purchase. When returning the card, the card balance will be refunded, minus a JP¥220 commission charge, along with the JP¥500 deposit. If the card's balance is under JP¥220, only the JP¥500 deposit is refunded, and the card must be returned at the green window of each JR station in Hokkaido.
Reminders
The price is the same for adults and children. There is no preferential policy for children and no student card either. If you want to purchase, please select the product directly.
This card does not include personal travel accident insurance. If you need to purchase any kind of insurance, please purchase by yourself.
This card does not require name-based registration. If the card is lost and cannot be replaced or report the loss.

- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time.
