Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort, located in Minamiuonuma City, Niigata Prefecture, is a historic ski destination with over 70 years of excellence. Boasting a stunning view of the Uonuma Basin and 236 hectares of vast slopes, the resort features more than 20 diverse courses that provide a thrilling snow mountain experience. 

You can easily access the resort by taking the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Echigo Yuzawa Station, followed by a 10-minute shuttle bus ride. If traveling by car, it's only a 5-minute drive from Shiozawa Ishiuchi, IC. Recent upgrades include the introduction of the world's most advanced combination lift, "Sunrise Express," and the day trip center, "Ishiuchi Maruyama Resort Center," in 2018. Additionally, the snow glamping facility "Snow Garden" offers non-skiers the chance to experience snowy mountain sightseeing. 

Excitingly, new attractions such as the "Observation Terrace," providing spectacular views of the Uonuma Basin, were opened in August 2022. Come and enjoy a variety of activities at our mountain resort!

From the station, it takes about 10 minutes by shuttle bus or taxi [By car] - Get off the Kan-Etsu Expressway at Shiozawa-Ishiuchi IC and head towards Route 17. Turn left on Route 17, go about 500 m, and turn right at the third traffic light. (There is an Ishiuchi Maruyama entrance sign.)
