The route runs along the Tausano ridge, a rocky ridge that will allow us to admire the surrounding landscape and learn more about the geological history of the Marecchia valley, a valley that inspired many Italian Renaissance painters. Arriving at the village of Tausano, hidden in the woods, we will visit this small village.
We will finish our excursion at the Franciscan convent of Sant'Igne (13th century), one of the oldest outside Umbria.
