商品説明
Experience one of Banff National Park’s most beautiful fall hikes on a guided adventure to Arnica Lake, a stunning alpine lake surrounded by mountain peaks and golden larch trees.
For just a few short weeks each fall, the alpine larches of the Canadian Rockies transform from green to brilliant shades of gold. Arnica Lake is one of the best places to experience this incredible seasonal display, with the trail climbing through beautiful mountain forest before reaching the larch-filled alpine landscape surrounding the lake.
The hike is approximately 10 km round trip with 580 meters of elevation gain, making it a rewarding moderate hike for guests who are comfortable spending several hours on the trail. The route begins near Vista Lake before descending into the valley and then steadily climbing toward Arnica Lake. Along the way, your guide will lead you through changing forest and mountain terrain, sharing information about the surrounding landscape, wildlife, and the unique alpine larches that make this area so special in the fall.
As you gain elevation, the scenery only gets better. During larch season, pockets of gold begin appearing throughout the forest before opening up around Arnica Lake, where golden larches contrast beautifully against the surrounding mountains and clear alpine water.
Once at the lake, take time to enjoy the scenery, take photos, have a snack, and appreciate one of those Rocky Mountain views that makes the climb completely worth it.
