商品説明

Begin your tour in the heart of Kraków’s Old Town, on the Main Market Square. Here, on 24 March 1794, Kościuszko took his famous oath to the Polish nation and became the leader of the uprising that would carry his name. Your guide will bring the scene to life: the crowds gathered in the square, the political tension of the late 18th century, and the moment Kraków became the stage for a national call to resistance.

After the Old Town introduction, continue by private transfer to Kościuszko Mound, one of Kraków’s most symbolic landmarks. At the Kościuszko Museum, discover the story of a man whose life connected Poland, France, and the American War of Independence. The exhibition presents Kościuszko not only as a military commander, but also as a thinker, reformer, and defender of liberty.

Next, climb the winding path to the top of Kościuszko Mound. From the summit, enjoy wide views over Kraków, the Vistula River, Wawel Hill, and, on clear days, the distant mountain landscape. Your guide will explain why Krakovians chose to build a mound rather than a conventional monument, and how this site became a living symbol of national memory.

After returning to the Old Town, continue with a guided walk in Kościuszko’s footsteps. Depending on the pace and opening conditions, the walk may include the Main Market Square plaque, the townhouse connected with Kościuszko’s stay in Kraków, the area of the Cloth Hall and the artistic memory of the Kościuszko Uprising, the Capuchin Church area connected with the blessing of his sabre, and the route toward Wawel, where Kraków’s memory of Kościuszko remains especially strong.
