商品説明
Begin your journey four meters below the bustling Market Square of Kraków, Europe’s largest medieval forum, and step into a world few have seen. This guided tour reveals the city’s hidden underground, where centuries-old secrets and treasures have been preserved beneath the modern cityscape. Walk along original medieval roads, surrounded by nearly 800 artifacts unearthed during archaeological excavations completed in 2010. These objects—ranging from jewellery and coins to tools and everyday items—offer a vivid glimpse into the lives of Kraków’s merchants and artisans from as far back as the 10th century.
Your guide will lead you through atmospheric tunnels, past interactive maps, holograms, and 3D visualizations that bring lost buildings and bustling market scenes to life. Discover the remains of an early settlement predating the city’s official founding, and witness remnants of a 10th-century necropolis, where pagan and early Christian traditions intertwined. Short films throughout the route illustrate daily medieval life and the craftwork that shaped Kraków’s prosperity.
The tour concludes back at the Market Square, leaving you perfectly placed to continue exploring Kraków’s vibrant heart or reflect on the remarkable journey through its subterranean past.
Please note that as space is limited the maximum group size is 15 people to guarantee everyone equal access to the objects. Please also note that the tour will be held even if only 2 people sign up.
