Sam & Julia's Mouse Mansion is a beloved Dutch children's book series, published in over 30 languages and adapted into a TV show in more than 100 countries. Rated 4.9 on Google, it's a must-see spot in Amsterdam for families.
Join an approximately one-hour painting workshop in a cozy studio inside the museum. Decorate your own little Mouse Door, ladder, and mailbox, finish with a sticker sheet, and take your creation home. Fun for all ages, children from 4 can join with a helping hand. Everything is provided. Our team helps in both English and Dutch.
Afterwards, step into the Mouse Mansion mini museum for free. See the original handmade sets that were built for the book series, filled with tiny details: cozy apartments, little shops, workplaces, and surprises like , a railway, and even a hot air balloon. Every room tells its own story.
Workshops run every Saturday, 10:00 to 16:15. Note: the workshop space is on the 2nd floor, only reachable by stairs (no lift).
You haven't really seen Amsterdam until you've seen the Mouse Mansion!
