Book this 6-hour tour to visit 3 magical locations in Dutch countryside. Your exclusive tour will begin with a pickup directly from your accommodation in a clean, air-conditioned vehicle, so you can sit back and relax while traveling through the beautiful Dutch landscapes. The first stop will be the village of Zaanse Schans where you can admire the quintessential Dutch architecture, beautiful flower fields and working windmills that you will probably recognize from Dutch postcards. The highlight of this experience will be climbing up the deck of an old windmill to enjoy the beautiful views and learning about the windmill's history from the mill's staff.
The next stop will be the tranquil village of Edam, known as the birthplace of Edam-style cheese. You will see the historic center with old drawbridges and the site of the summer Cheese Market. You will also make a brief stop in nearby Volendam, an old fisherman village with a busy fish market and beautiful little houses and churches. Another highlight will be a visit to a local cheese farm, where the staff will greet you in traditional costumes and demonstrate how cheese is made. The farm shop is a great place to buy authentic Dutch cheese, souvenirs and typical fine foods. It's a must-do for every foodie!
