Magical Night at the Castle. Leave the daytime tourist rush behind and enter the silence of the illuminated royal district. This exclusive journey offers a mystical encounter with the heart of European history, revealing secrets of the Castle grounds normally hidden from the public eye.
IMPERIAL RESIDENCE. Our adventure begins with a short tram ride to the historic Castle hill. Cross the Prasny Bridge and enter the New Royal Palace complex, built in the 16th century for Emperor Rudolf II of Habsburg. Admire the illuminated Leopold Fountain and the massive medieval fortifications. Today, this former imperial residence is reserved for world leaders and official state visits – experience the atmosphere of the Czech Republic’s most exclusive political seat.
HRADCANY SQUARE AND CITY PANORAMA. Walk through the ceremonial First Courtyard gate – the same path used by presidents from around the world. From this historic Hradcany Square, enjoy the spectacular panoramic view of the illuminated Vltava River, the Charles Bridge from above, and the whole "City of a Hundred Spires". It is the best night viewpoint in Prague.
PERFECT LIGHT FOR YOUR PHOTOS. Late May to mid-July: The sun sets around 21:00, followed by a 45-minute twilight. You will see everything clearly. Your photos will look better than daytime shots because there are no harsh shadows. You can also catch a beautiful sunset glow (red skies).
Mid-August to mid-May: Experience a classic night atmosphere with a deep blue to black sky.
ST. VITUS CATHEDRAL AND EMPEROR CHARLES IV. Enter the sacred courtyards to see the medieval Cathedral rising into the night sky. Explore the Old Royal Palace exteriors and the residence of the President of the Czech Republic.
