Discover HafenCity on a leisurely walk with a true insider. I will accompany you through Hamburg's newest district and show you not only the most famous landmarks, but also the stories that many visitors never hear.
I have been witnessing HafenCity's development since its beginnings and along the way I will share personal experiences, historical background, and exciting insights into architecture, urban planning, and life between the Elbe and Speicherstadt. You will get to know HafenCity from a perspective that goes far beyond a classic city tour.
Our walk takes us to the Elbphilharmonie, through the Sandtorhafen, along modern residential areas, over impressive bridges to the Baakenhafen and the Überseequartier, among other places. Along the way, we will discover special vantage points, works of art, and places where the history of Hamburg and the future of the city meet.
The tour lasts about two hours and takes place in small groups. This leaves enough time for questions, discussions, and photos. Whether you're visiting Hamburg for the first time or you're already familiar with HafenCity, you'll see it with new eyes.
