Begin your day at dawn with the sacred alms-giving ceremony. Join locals in the spiritual ritual of giving alms to monks and learn about this unique Lao tradition from your guide.

Afterward, enjoy free time for breakfast at a café or hotel (own expense). Then, visit the Royal Palace Museum and temples such as Wat Mai and Wat Xieng Thong.

Next, board a traditional slow boat and enjoy stunning views along the Mekong River. Explore the Tham Ting and Tham Theung caves, filled with thousands of Buddha statues.

Stop for lunch at a riverside restaurant (if included in your package). On your return, stop at Ban Xang Hai to see traditional Lao rice whisky making and handicrafts. Finally, return to Luang Prabang for a hotel drop-off.
