Immerse yourself in the soulful heritage of Luang Prabang with a curated journey that begins at the doorstep of the historic Victoria Xiengthong Palace. This seamless half-day expedition blends an intimate exploration of the town's most sacred landmarks—including the Royal Palace and the iconic Wat Xiengthong—with the serene luxury of a private sunset cruise along the Mekong River. By booking with us, you enjoy the exclusive "Pier-to-Palace" advantage, bypassing the crowds to experience local history through the lens of a premier heritage resort, complete with refined amenities and a private boat departure from our own hotel pier. Duration: 01:00 PM – 07:00 PM | Starting Point: Hotel Lobby 01:00 PM – Royal Palace Museum: Depart from Victoria Xiengthong Palace by private Tuk-Tuk. Explore the former residence of the Lao Monarchy and the sacred "Prabang" Buddha. 02:30 PM – Spiritual Landmarks: Continue to Wat Mai, famous for its golden bas-reliefs, followed by Wat Wisunarat, the city’s oldest temple featuring the iconic "Watermelon Stupa." 04:00 PM – The Golden Masterpiece: Arrive at Wat Xiengthong, the "Golden City Monastery." Marvel at the intricate "Tree of Life" mosaic as the late afternoon sun illuminates the glass tiles. 04:45 PM – Heritage Walk to Pier: Take a short, scenic stroll from the temple gates directly back to the Victoria Private Pier. 05:00 PM – Mekong Sunset Departure: Board our traditional Lao cruise boat. Set sail as the sky transforms into shades of orange and violet over the mountainous horizon. 07:00 PM – Journey’s End: The cruise concludes at the hotel pier, perfectly timed for dinner at Alamea Restaurant (optional; not included in the tour price)
