This hands-on lesson focuses on simple, fresh ingredients and is designed so you can easily recreate burek at home. To complete the experience, you'll receive a recipe booklet, ensuring the skills and flavors stay with you long after the class.

This burek-making session is the perfect way to dive into Bosnian culture through its most beloved dish!

  • Know Before You Go: Please arrive at Food House Mostar at least 15 minutes before the session start time. This is always your meeting point, even if the class is held at a different venue nearby. Your instructor will greet you and walk you to the cooking venue

  • Know Before You Go: The class is conducted in English

  • Know Before You Go: Suitable for all skill levels, including complete beginners

  • Know Before You Go: Please notify us of any dietary restrictions or food allergies at least 24 hours in advance. Vegetarian and vegan filling options are available

Children under 12 may attend as observers if a parent or guardian takes full responsibility for them throughout the session. The cooking instructor's role is to teach — supervision of children remains the parent's responsibility at all times
