Raised in the cold waters of the Sea of Japan, it is prized for its naturally sweet, juicy meat, rich umami flavor, and delicate texture. It is delicious served boiled, grilled, or in traditional crab rice porridge.

The source of the hot spring, known as “Arayu,” reaches temperatures of up to 98°C. You can even boil eggs purchased from nearby shops in the hot spring water.
