You can watch the intensity of the wrestlers clashing on the dohyo up close. The bouts unfolding right before your eyes offer a sense of tension and power that cannot be experienced through television or video, allowing you to feel the wrestlers' breathing and the sound of their intense collisions.
Furthermore, the tour is packed with special content unique to these events. In addition to observing the wrestlers' practice sessions, you can enjoy traditional performances such as the 'kamiyui' (hairdressing) demonstration, which is rarely seen, and 'shokkiri,' a comedic performance introducing prohibited sumo moves. It is a valuable opportunity to experience the depth of sumo culture in a way that differs from official tournaments.
Beyond the matches, there are also unforgettable moments for fans, such as photo opportunities and handshake events with popular wrestlers. Please join us for a special day where you can fully enjoy the charm of Grand Sumo up close.
