Passengers do not need to collect physical tickets; simply proceed to the gate and present the registered valid identification document. Children must be accompanied by an adult passenger to complete the real-name identity verification process through the assisted channel.
- Boarding Process -
Departing from Hong Kong (Departing from Hong Kong West Kowloon Station):
- Please proceed directly to the ticketing concourse on Level B1 to complete real-name verification and ticket checking via self-service gates or staff-assisted counters using valid identification.
- Before boarding, please follow the instructions for luggage and security checks, then proceed to the departure concourse on Level B3 to complete immigration procedures.
- After arriving at Level B3, please proceed to the ticket gates for your train and use your valid identification to enter the boarding area. The ticket gates will open 15 minutes before departure and close 5 minutes before departure.
- Upon arriving at the mainland China station, please exit the gate directly using your valid identification.
Arriving in Hong Kong (Departing from a mainland China station):
- Passengers should use their valid identification to complete real-name verification and ticket checking via self-service gates or staff-assisted channels.
- When heading to the ticket gate for your train, please use your valid identification to enter and board.
- Upon arriving at West Kowloon Station, please disembark at the platform on Level B4 and follow the signs to the arrival concourse on Level B2. At the arrival concourse, please complete immigration procedures and exit the gate using your valid identification.

- When booking, you must provide the passenger's Chinese and English name as shown on their travel document, nationality, and the document or passport number.
- Children under 6 years old can travel for free. Passengers aged 6 or above but under 14 are eligible for child tickets; the child's age is calculated based on the date of travel. Child tickets must be purchased together with the accompanying adult's ticket. Passengers should occupy the seat assigned to them.
- Each passenger aged 18 or above may bring one child under 6 years old for free, provided the child does not occupy a separate seat. The child's valid identification document must be provided at the time of booking. Additional accompanying children must purchase child tickets. If a child traveling for free occupies a seat, a child ticket must be purchased.
- Tickets are only valid for the specified date, train number, and carriage class. If a passenger disembarks at an intermediate station or does not complete the entire journey, they will not be able to use the same ticket to continue the remaining journey.
- Passengers must bring valid travel documents to complete immigration procedures. The Level B3 ticket gates will close 5 minutes before departure.

- Passengers traveling without a valid ticket will be handled according to relevant regulations.
- Adults holding a child ticket will be treated as traveling without a ticket.
- Except for cases where services are affected or with the consent of train crew members to pay the fare difference, passengers are not allowed to disembark beyond the destination station specified on the ticket.
- Passengers who are deemed unsuitable for travel according to relevant laws, considered by the railway transport enterprise to threaten public health and safety, violate relevant laws, disrupt public order at stations or on trains, harass others, or travel in violation of rules and refuse to pay the fare difference, may be refused boarding.
- The high-speed rail system requires every passenger to complete real-name verification before a ticket can be issued. Please ensure you carry the original or a copy of the identification document used for booking (Mainland residents: ID card / Hong Kong and Macao residents: Home Return Permit / Taiwan residents: Tai-Bao-Zheng / Passengers from other countries: Passport) to perform system real-name verification at the station.
