Product Info

As the world’s only museum focused entirely on Sichuan cuisine, it offers a complete, hands-on food culture experience rather than a traditional static exhibition.
The museum displays a large collection of historical items related to Sichuan food over 3,000 years, including ancient cooking tools, tableware, wine sets, tea sets, and old recipe books, showing the development of Sichuan cuisine from the ancient Shu Kingdom to today.
Visitors can watch the traditional fermentation process of Pixian Broad Bean Paste, the core seasoning of Sichuan cuisine. Daily live demonstrations are also available, featuring intangible cultural heritage cooking skills such as blindfolded thin noodle cutting, high-heat stir-frying, and traditional snack making.
The museum provides practical hands-on cooking classes where guests can learn to make classic Sichuan dishes such as Mapo Tofu and Kung Pao Chicken under the guidance of professional chefs. It also includes an all-you-can-eat area with more than 30 kinds of authentic Sichuan snacks.
In addition, visitors can join tea tasting sessions, try Sichuan liquor and specially made medicinal wine, and learn about local tea and culture. The Kitchen God Shrine area introduces traditional Chinese food etiquette and the value of craftsmanship.
English-speaking guides and international-friendly services are available throughout the visit. The experience is relaxed with no compulsory consumption, suitable for individuals, families and groups interested in Chinese food culture.
