Rovaniemi: Meet & Feed Reindeer at a Reindeer Farm｜Finland

The Reindeer Farm Visit is one of Lapland’s most authentic summer and autumn experiences — and with Arctic GM, you’ll discover it at a genuine, family-run reindeer farm.

As Lapland’s Original Aurora Hunters™, our family has lived here for 20 generations since the 1600s. Trusted by over 50,000 guests worldwide, Arctic GM is one of Lapland’s most respected tour companies. Every experience is operated fully in-house, with certified guides, small groups, and heritage at its heart.

Your journey begins with pickup from your Rovaniemi accommodation in one of our 2025 Ford Tourneo 4×4 vans — complete with leather interiors, heated comfort, and extra legroom.

At the reindeer farm, you’ll be welcomed by local herders. Learn about reindeer husbandry, and gain insight into the traditions that shape Lapland’s culture today.

You’ll also have the chance to hand-feed the reindeer — a personal and memorable encounter with these gentle Arctic animals.

With small groups (max 8 guests), certified guides, and everything arranged by Arctic GM, this reindeer visit offers you a genuine connection to Lapland’s heritage — in comfort and style.
